Most of you are probably wondering what in the heck is in my children's hair. A few weeks ago we had our first experience with Vasoline. Gavin and Madison decided to get into a tub of vasoline that I had sitting out (bad mistake). Gavin decided to bath himself in it as well as put half the tub on his hair. Wow what a nightmare it was to get that stuff out of their hair. Madison's was easy she just had a little bit in her hair so I only had to wash it 3 times versus the countless times I had to wash Gavin's hair (I lost count). Several friends and some internet research advised me to put cornstarch in their hair and then to wash it. So that is what is in their hair in the pictures below.

Sara, that is too cute! They look so happy with all of that Vasoline in their hair! Funny story- when I was a little girl, my dad let me play with is hair. I put everything in it: tiny rubberbands, hairspray, gel EVERYTHING! One day, he told me to put vasoline in it saying, that's what he did when he was younger to get the 'slick look.' I put soooo much vasoline in his hair it took him days to get it all out! hahahah!
