Gavin on his way to Preschool

We started Gavin in 1 year old preschool this year at St. Peters Luthern. He goes on Wednesdays from 9:00 and 12:00 and he is really enjoying it. He is the only child I have seen that doesn't cry when his mom leaves. He goes right in and starts playing. He is definitely not shy. Yesterday when I dropped him off the two kids in front of us were screaming and he just looked at me like "What is that kids problem."

By the way he also decided on Tuesday to take off walking, get he is walking everywhere (its very exciting but sad at the same time). I hope to get some video put up soon of him walking.

Gavin's ready for Gamecock Football Season!

We had Gavin in his gamecock gear today and he was ready to play and watch some college football:)

Madison is still doing well. Here are some latest pictures.

Day Out with Gavin

Kyle had the afternoon off so we decided to spend some one on one time with Gavin. We took him to Chuck E Cheese for the first time (it was Kyle's first time too). He was like an ADD child. There was so much stimulus that he didn't know where to begin and what to do. He danced to the music they played and loved playing the games. Following our trip we took him
to the zoo.

Hard to believe its been 2 weeks!

Well we took Madison this afternoon for her two week appt and she has already gained a pound and grown 2 inches. She is doing really well and sleeps around 18-20 hours a day (which is completely opposite of Gavin). Gavin is adjusting. We have definitely seen his temper. He is becoming more and more interested in Maddy and I really have to watch him (he has already sat on her twice). Maddy has a little baby doll and Gavin likes to play with the doll and imitate what he sees me doing with Madison, which is so funny. It is definitely an easier adjustment the second time around. The hardest thing is not being able to pick Gavin up. He just doesn't understand why mommy can't pick him up.

Madison is Here

We welcomed Madison into the world on Friday, August 10th @ 1:40 pm. She weighed 7 pounds and was 18 inches long. Not sure who she really looks like. She has Kyle's long torso and shorter legs. She seems to sleep more than Gavin. Our first night home she was up every two
hours eating. We seem to be adjusting. Gavin is starting to show some interest in her. It will be an adjustment for him.
